Hey guys, We just announced a new group of N scale cabooses. Check them out here: http://bluford-shops.com/bluford_93_019.htm Our 3-bay hopper pre-orders are still open as well: http://bluford-shops.com/bluford_93_041.htm Enjoy, Craig www.bluford-shops.com
They are painted and lettered/numbered for the C-40-6 class. I will wait to see what the actual production model looks like - as the photo is a decent stand in. But, far from correct for an SP caboose. And, like for Jeff -- it is way to new for me. And -- the model looks to be closer to the rebuilt version of the C-40-6's --- the numbers should be 4300 - 4328. Again - it's a wait and see. My 2 pennies, Wolf
I don't mean that in a bad way, it's just from the late 60's as a kid onward, I don't recall ever seeing it in person on trains rolling through Chattanooga TN. I've seen photos of that scheme and the only time I have ever seen it in person was at a RR museum in Spartanburg SC. Thus, to me, it is an interesting choice and would possibly be a unique future addition to my model RR empire.
Early 50s to mid-60s actually. We are already working on a more modern version of Southern seen here: http://bluford-shops.com/bluford_93_043.htm and we wanted to do Southern cabooses from the transition era since there are so many nice Sylvan Green diesels available in N but not much in the way of matching cabooses. Plus they would go with our upcoming Southern black hoppers: http://bluford-shops.com/bluford_93_041.htm Craig www.bluford-shops.com
I would be in for at least a dozen B&O, but they would have to have the proper window arrangement, so I'll pass.
