Whtever happened to Micro-Trains single window heavyweight coach?? It has been advertised as coming soon by MTL for both 2017 and 2018. Seems like low hanging fruit. Any idea when they will be produced ???

I would buy that AA caboose in a New York minute! Are you asking for them to make it in Z or N? Looking for someone who’s good with custom Z paint to get a loco in the AA scheme.

    Bremner: Yes you are... :)

I'd still take one since I grew up only miles from there.

OK. Now I wonder if this is the same company which we see in bottled water, on grocery store shelves?

    1) A set of GP-somethings to pull the MOW Heavyweight set. (OK, I would definitely settle for Alcos !!!)

    2) Some sort of snow-fighting train to join the MOW sets

    3) A "weed-burning" or defoliant train to join the MOW sets

Arrowhead water is 'bottled at the source'. In the past this meant shipped via the PE in tank cars to the bottling plant but now it means that they have it piped to the bottling plant. There's been more than a few problems with how they get the water and if it is even a 'natural spring' anymore.

Most of the time the water was shipped in standard black tank cars, but they did have several 'special made' tank cars including:

The water train ran from Arrowhead, through the streets of San Bernardino, and continued to the bottling plant that was at the corner of Washington and Compton near downtown Los Angeles.

Maybe we should start a thread that is titled :"Dear Micro-Trains, I wish you would hurry up and make ..."

I am sure the top of that list would include the single-window coach.

And, I would want to put the heavyweight baggage/coach combine near the top of that list, too.

I'll check into it but it doesn't sound familiar. if not, it would be a good one to do.
