We have developed a mini version of the stock PowerCab panel for those who are looking to integrate into multiple layouts, without having to move their stock panel around and/or for anyone looking for a more compact solution. We took it one step further and added LED's to show system power and presence of DCC voltage. In stock and shipping now! Please let me know if you have any questions!

Mini review for a mini panel.

Arrived quickly - even taking into account that mail was not delivered Thursday because of Michael.

Having worked in electronics since the late 60's, I can say that this is a well designed and professionally built piece of equipment - on a par or better that the "official" boards.

First look is of the new board side by side with my older board.

Disconnected the old board, installed the new one and took a train out for a spin.

I ordered it as an extra and to support Jason's efforts( keep making new ideas reality), but plan to use it instead of the the original cause it's too cool to hide.

    thanks,

    Don

Thank you for the very nice write up and review, Don! Glad you are liking it. We sold several at the train show in Virginia Beach this weekend. Once people understood it was an enhanced version of the stock panel, they suddenly really liked the idea.

    Thanks again!

Sorry, I won't be. I would like to make it down to that show sometime. I don't know if we will have it worked out in time, but Chuck's Trains might be selling my products at that show. Nothing set in stone just yet.

Sorry to miss you. Chuck and his wife are good people - I've bought a lot from them over the years.
You should try to make the show some year. They like to advertise that they are the biggest, longest running show in the southeast. This is the 34th annual show. The club report shows that 250 tables are committed and 15 are available.
The Sippin and Switchin group will have their layout there and plan to be between 15000 and 18000 sq ft this year. Lots of other layouts too, but these guys always put on a huge layout that always runs flawlessly.
The club also started a spring show last year in May. First one was a big success, so it's on again for this year. Will probably become a regular thing.

    Don
