OKC WAMX locos

    Just before dark yesterday on 4/27/18 I spotted these WAMX locos in the yard tied down. Not sure about the heritage of #4121, but the light on the end of the long hood was definitely interesting. [​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]

    That 4163 looks interesting too, with that snow shield behind the cab. Ex-CN?

    Well, looks like SP speculation on the 4121 is probably correct. Another page shows her heritage as ex SP 8462 (SD40) rebuilt to a SD40-2.

    The 4163 shows as former CN 5056 (SD40).

    And since we are at it, 3835 shows as former MP 574 (GP38)
