The Diablo Canyon Railroad just acquired a second Shay from an eastern railroad.

My furnace filter trees. Bought the filter, green, from Home Depot, cut it to shape and glued it to pre-painted skewers. Then sprayed it with a spray adhesive and sprinkeled round foam on the tree.

My new Climax locomotive. Very happy with it. The guy w/o produces them is a really nice guy. Has helped Mr a lot.

 

Been working on log loads. Flat cars are resin castings I made, those behind the Shay are the old quality craft kits.

 

I need to build a box to keep my layout in because it will be outside under the patio. Just need to get some plywood and build it. Hoping to keep it mostly dust free. Its sitting on my work bench in my little shed and I need to move it so I can use my work bench. Fun, fun, fun.

 

Just ordered a second 13 ton climax kit from Randy. I'll have two of each now. I can have two at the layout in the mountains, and two here. Sure enjoy his products.

 

Started ballasting track today. The double mainline is half done.
