This was my dad's set. I just got it back after 16 years from a friend who was storing it for me. Not certain who the manufacturer is, but may be NSK, a Japanese brass train company. Body is brass with some sort of alloy trucks. Weighs a ton. Body is painted for Union Pacific. Body design appears to be an attempt at looking close enough to an EA or E1, but the nose isn't sloped enough. Both A units are powered and the B is a dummy, but has the gearing to power it if you want to. Trucks are somewhat brittle from age, and because of that, these have not been tested so I have no idea if they work (I didn't want to risk damaging the motors if they do work). Based on the cloth-jacketed wiring and some input from some other O-scale collectors, I'm guessing this is from the 1950s or early 60s, but no idea for sure. Paint is chipping off and the B unit has a few little dings on the roof. This is sold as-is only.
