It needs to have intensive, careful maintenance--UP can ill afford to lose it due to derailments!
That line has the hottest traffic schedule (60-80 TPD) in the whole of Wyoming.... Traffic from Salt Lake City, North Platte, Denver, the PRB, and from all points in between take that line thru Cheyenne.....
