The tank is a styrene sheet wrapped around a brass tube. Then the ends were added.

Cody,

At the time I scratchbuilt mine from drawings in RMC. I know Kenray models now makes a kit for these:
KenRay Models Home Page, Unique N Scale Cars and Detail Parts for the Discriminating Modeler
Click "rolling stock"

And I have heard that Funaro & Camerlengo will enter N scale soon and this will be one of there first cars. No mention of it yet:
