Obviously a what could have been. The main character in my book saw his first train in 1907 while the SN&ST was building into his native Hamilton, TEXAS.

What's the origin of this road name? Is that a DI box car?

It is a DI boxcar. I bought 10 with dimensional data as I think they are excellent models. I sure have no idea about the origin of the name. I will try to ask the question on TB as I am sure Russell Straw knows the answer.
