Yep, Republic Steel. Center street bridge is the Orange thing in the background were the CSX & NS cross.

BTW My Grandfather worked here too:

He is standing under the road number on the cab.

The furnaces in the upper left are having their foundations dug up right now. And the yard along the river is still there, it's called "Hazelton" (NS)

Here is a photo taken from a bridge to the right out of this above postcard:

The track to the left would be the yard in the foreground of the photo, the old Lake Erie & Eastern. That yard is gone, but the Ohio Central still uses the tracks to get to the old Youngstown & Southern line that they operate now.

Next time I point the Pontiac east, I'm gonna look you up for some 'Fanning. I have never really explored the old mill areas, and it seems there's some great action there. CSX, NS, OC, what else?
