Where dooes my layout represent on the UP?

    I did not build my layout to any prototypical area but I generally tell people I model Union Pacific. I'd appreciate anyones comments on where you think my layout represents on the Union Pacific. Have a look at my site and let me know what you think. I need to name certain landmarks on my layout e.g bridge, yard etc. You never know you might even get some acknowledgement if I use a name you suggest

    Nice layout!!!! Judging by the looks of it, I'd say around the Midwest, maybe ex-CNW territory. Second guess would be California, but the Soo line SD60s make the Midwest my choice.
    Which would be correct..........too bad I can't just pop over & see the layout in person...... [​IMG]

    Maybe the Boise cutoff of the Oregon Short Line, OSL track between Twin Falls yard and Nampa yard in Idaho. The scenery looks similar, and the track plan kinda fits.
