I have a new scene rolling around inside my mountain of red hair. A very 1950s scene. I'll be working on it soon.
I really missed an opportunity last weekend. Should have taken a photo... There was a small car show near my residence. Street rods and oldies. Wow. There was one gal who came, dressed in era appropriate clothing. Gorgeous! She had it perfect. One of those summery dresses, halter style, with poofy undergarment from the waist down. Every bit from her hair to the shoes, was right on. If this was 1957, she would have been Miss America. Looked wonderfully fine amongst the cars from those days. Nobody else even came close to her. Took me right back to my boyhood days. Again, wow. This would have been a person perfect for one of Candy's scenes!
I don't understand why the makers of HO figures do not make people dressed in 1950s clothes. It is a popular era to model. Doesn't make sense to me. I have been known to also dress bouffant. email me
