Good thing that's the MOW crew - they probably have jacks to put that wheel back on the track.

Russell, that's a well done realistic scene. Though it's unfortunate that T&NO 345 has derailed one axle. I hope the crew coming to move the car notices.

Good morning from wet and mild Northeast Ohio!

Nothing new this week so here is a similar picture of my PRR N1 with a coal drag but with Alco's with and ore drag, along with a video!

When Walther's sold the SUPER CHEIF, I bought it, as the set. all the cars and the four F units. Well, my Rio Grande pride took over, and I sold it. The most famous paint scheme ever.

That seems to happen a lot with my modules. Here the MoPac caboose derailed right at the diamond blocking the SP and it took a committee to get it back on the tracks.

Here are a couple of old Athearn locomotives that were done around 1980. These were my first attempt at custom painting and detailing locomotives. These ere done for a friend of mine who unfortunately passed away before his layout was completed, The Gallatin Canyon & Western. He had custom decals made for his railroad and we came up with this paint scheme. Both locomotives were remotored with NWSL can motors. They run almost as well as my Atlas RS units with the Kato drive. Thay also run at almost the same exact speed as the Atlas units so the can be used in MU. (Yes, I still run DC only at home)

A big thing back then was constant lighting, something that is pretty well taken for granted today. I build my own diode bridges for just a few cents each. The lighting is also directional. Notice the class lights on the F-7. Lit these by using fiber optics. Although that are older than dirt, they still glide silently and smoothly around the layout.

Nice! These units must be from a subsidiary of the NP. :)
