Does that nice looking station still exist? What caused the original grade to be relocated?

Hytec, The new road bed as in the photo going through the cut took the place of the old road bed. The old road bed came into the yards and then the passenger trains would have to back into the depot. As far as I know the old bridge foundations are still standing in the river. When we had long southbound trains the switchmen would stand on the small hill in the cut and relay signals to couple up our train and give a high ball when ready to leave town. When new there was an eating place on the right end . This was also Div. head quarters until about 1930 . The cut was all done by hand. LEW
