bumping this up as there are now almost-ready-to-go pics of the TT scale SW1200 on the TTnut forum. worth a look if you are interested in TT,. In addition, russian manufacturer Rail-TT is now doing nice AAR 1937 boxcars and USRA single sheathed boxcars and will do more. other cottage manufacturers on the site have come up with a couple of open hoppers too and cabeese too.

Very cool. I found a TT switching layout once that made me really curious about the scale.

the TT scale SW1200 is now listed on the MTB site. http://www.mtb-model.com/pages/product_vypisTT.php

with the boxcars available and hoppers etc from shapeways it should be possible to have a nice little TT shunting plank.

i think MTB has another loco project in the works too. if you are a TTnut member you can probably have a guess what it might be.

When I first got interested in H0, it was my Uncles dormant pike, oh, very early 50's.
He had some narrow gauge stuff, told me it was TT, not seen much since then.

Hello. I had to reply as I am the person working in cooperation with MTB on the above mentioned TT SW1200 (I also happen to be the North American distributor). It will soon be available to all those who are interested at SazModel. It will be comparable to any modern production model (mould injected plastic, digital interface, LED lights, etc.) and come in CN, SP, PRR and undecorated schemes. Have a look at the attached pictures. Please note that the last picture is a preproduction sample and does not include all the final detail parts.

I would be most interested in hearing your feedback. Thank you for tolerating some TT talk in this forum.

By the way the SazModel address is: http://www.sazmodel.com/

I know it is poor form to have ones first post be a sales pitch, but at least it is not the only reason I'm here. Thank you for humouring me.

I actually thought about getting one in SP when they came out, just couldn't justify another scale...
