From 2006 through 2011, Jim O’Connell built four unique and impressive Z scale layouts. Each was based on the theme of the Central California Railroad. While a fantasy line, the layouts would represent different divisions of the CCRR. Now, we are excited to present the CCRR Collection. Hi Rob. Just purchased this and now deciding if I should just also print out a hard copy - I like hard copies. Thanks for doing this. I just wish - and I know most may not like me saying this.... - that you had made a special run for this using the same format and size as you do for Ztrack Magazine. I would definitely have bought a copy of it.
Gavin we would love to do special print runs, but print is sadly in decline. Today Z scale has record number of those modeling the scales, but our subscription numbers are down. This is typical for all publishers. People just don't want printed media these days. Our digital sales are up. We do plan on doing more special digital only publications, but none will be printed. I do hope you enjoyed the O'Connell collection. It was a lot of fun putting this together. Rob
