The Tennessee Central Railway Museum runs a series of excursions east from Nashville, TN to as far east as Monterey, TN. http://tcry.org/ http://tcry.org/tc/history.htm http://tcry.org/equipmnt.htm The temperature with heat index was around 105! 6902 is a E8 built in 1953 for the New York Central, the 2 F7B's are ex B&LE and the B40-8W is ex ATSF/BNSF.....the passenger cars are mostly ATSF and Amtrak, with 2 being ex PRR.
