Southern 630 and 4501 begin the climb up Missionary Ridge.

Wow -- nice to see 4501 on the roll again. At one time she was THE sole steam locomotive on SOU's fantrip roster.

I have always wanted to see 4501 running. Closest I got was in 1993 at the TVRM. She was cold and in the engine house for maintenance. Nice video of a TVRM doubleheader. They do nice work there.

Great steam plume. Nice. Looks and sounds as if only 630 is pulling.

Correct.....when 4501 passed I saw the engineer slightly pull out on her throttle. Either engine could handle this size train with ease over the C&C, Missionary Ridge is the ruling grade for north and southbounds, hard to believe this used to be Central of Georgia mainline rail.
