The Q faded into memory over 30 years ago, but it's not totally gone. Take a look at this picture and witness the sign of the Q, marching on.

This little overpass is along the C&I division of the BNSF in the town of Milledgeville IL. It is an interesting overpass complete with the Burlington Route trade marks formed within the concrete supports. Of interest is the unique traffic set up for both cars and people. At one time a sidewalk was to the right of the picture and people walked accross the ROW the down stairs on the other side, while vehicle traffic went underneath. This little scene would be a great site on any model railroad.

Ok, now your turn! Let us see what examples you have of CB&Q structures, bridges, signals and stations that are still in use. Better yet, try to keep the pictures with signs of the Burlington in them like my example.

I cannot input any of my own shots in this thread except this one:
The photo doesn't show the logo, and I don't know of a photo I have that shows the C&S logo better, but it is there...

Nice shot Hemi, you even got a train in yours! The bridge in Milledgeville mocks me:angry: , I have yet to get a picture of a train there.
