I believe this would be the Rat River Transportation Company- Which has something to do with Nicolet Hardwoods Corporation. Seems familiar, but I cannot think of a possible predecessor RR name.

Hi! The Rat River Railroad ran once a month on what used to be the 'Nicolet Badger Northern', a shortline that ran from Wabeno Wisconsin to Tipler Wisconsin. It ran on what used to be part of the CNWs Laona Line. NBN hauled only pulpwood. Once they seized operations in 1994, Rat River Transportation Group bought the line and one of their Locomotives. They only ran once a month due to the lack of business. The Rat River RR Quit in 2009, and is now the Nicolet State Trail for Snowmobiles and Four Wheelers. For some reason theres not much online about The NBNs line.
