    Amtrak will often add power if they have any private cars in tow. That could be a possibility. The two new units might have simply been DIT.

    I am not sure, but I think those locos are near Cienega Creek Preserve area. That is between Benson and Tucson. I know the UP had some in storage there but did not realize the large number.
