Just rewired the circuit board to my bash built 0-6-0 switcher. Now installing the e-cigarette element to the bellows that goes to a cam driven shaft lets hope it works. I was stunned when my rewiring project to the circuit board resulted in EVERYTHING working:). Have sent away for a slew of 27mhz crystals to re-crystal the remotes that are running on 27.145mhz. The crystal in the controller is straight forward but the circuit board is where you need to retune the onboard crystal. This is done by installing a different crystal in the controller and depressing any TX button and holding it then slowly adjust the circuit crystal until the engine responds to the command. Have done this lots of times on my R/C airplanes so this is a road pass traveled.
    Looking forward to spring.
If the e-cig project works I will post the parts and how I did it.
    All Aboard!!!

It just so happens that last nite I was experimenting with the E-Cig idea. I got it to work now I have to make sure it fits and doesn't get too hot for the plastic smoke stack. Have been toying with the idea of using brass tubing instead. Work on the rolling stock is progressing I have figured out how to convert the New Brite cars to Brachmann couplers. Will take pictures of the conversion and post. Been repainting the cars to look more like model G scale train cars as opposed to the TOY look. Next week I meet with a good friend that runs a CB shop, that's right, CB shop. He is a wiz with small R/C controls and adding capacitors to motors to make them slow down slowly and speed up slowly.
    Will keep in touch
