Hey all. Can anyone tell me whether the P2K GP9 chassis has a full height "Nose"? I want to make a Western Maryland lowered nose GP9 from one, but I would like to avoid the issue I had on an N scale one I did with having to file the frame. Any imput would be great, thank you! Amanda
Amanda . I just got a used proto gp7 with dcc sound for $60 nice unit. Sound equipped puts the speakers in the rear long there is a fairly big chunk of weight in the short hood end that looks to be a separate piece from the frame. Meaning you should be able to modify the weight off the frame. Hope this helps pic to follow. Hope this helps
