I wonder if those arched areas on the first floor with the rectangular windows inset into them were always that way or if they originally had arched windows in them. And I agree with you guys. There is really no good reason to demolish a perfectly good old building and replace it with a "pole barn" or modern metal tent. They have buildings in Europe hundreds of years old and still serviceable. Doug
