    Hank, I agree. There is something about those old buildings that is attractive. I don't understand why people insist on tearing them down to replace them with new ugly stuff. Thanks for posting that, Roger.

    I wonder if those arched areas on the first floor with the rectangular windows inset into them were always that way or if they originally had arched windows in them.

    And I agree with you guys. There is really no good reason to demolish a perfectly good old building and replace it with a "pole barn" or modern metal tent. They have buildings in Europe hundreds of years old and still serviceable.
