Need to decide between another TCS Z2, which is super tiny and I love how they work in my other locomotives, or a Digitrax, probably DZ126, so that I can eventually have transponding sound (Soundtraxx). But, whats the point if the motor control is terrible? Or I can't get the dang thing to fit in an Atlas N 4-4-0? Looking for experiences with the 6-series Digitrax decoders. Thanks in advance, and please, no flame wars.
Have you looked at the ESU Lokpilot Nano? 4 Functions, Better motor control, smaller than the DZ126, and cheaper than the Z2.
I just did. No one local sells them, not that I have a very local LHS... Price is slightly higher than Z2s that I know where I can get. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
Streamlined Backshop (SBS4DCC.com) carries them, and Bryan delivers quickly. There are some pretty small Zimo decoders, too.
