Instead of tying up the new member section with posts.

As I get back into modeling after a long term hiatus and now having a 7×11 train room.

My first real attempt at building a layout I will be going modular after scouring several sites.

It seems that modular is the way to go in case of future moves.

Also considering L-girder as I have a couple of big valleys on level 2.

Heard it's easier to drop kick L-girder than the old school way with plywood/boards.

Will be building this one section at a time making it easier in me and my wallet.

    Any helpful suggestions considered.
As for a track plan I'm an old BN tie gang railrat so the terrain will dictate the track routing just like the 1:1.

Still looking for my camera which is buried in one of the moving boxes as soon as I find it the pictures will begin.

This is a freelanced RR using the BN as a guide for my equipment, structures, industries, it will be based around the timber, grain, coal, paper region.

    So till next time

Going to get some lumber this weekend yesssssssssssssss I liiiiiiiiiiiiiiike it.

Hoping now to find my camera so I can start documenting this layout build.

Also will be using the Model Railroaded peace river article for some layout design element ideas.

Checked out my Campbell scale models little curved trestle kit now I need to find my stain to give it the creosote look before I start building it as it has a nice spot over a salmon creek(aka Spawning grounds)

Sucks being on a limited income.
