Has furloughed and otherwise and cut back, because of the energy shipment slow down. They are also storing unit trains of bare tables, tanks and coal cars. From a friend at MRL, today they put two 150 car coal trains on their out-of-service Darby Branch. Two more such are scheduled to soon join these.
That coal traffic is never coming back at this point. Natural Gas is cheaper and easier to keep clean in the US and the Chinese economy and environmental problems mean they will import less and likely favor Australian coal F what they do import.
