:) I understand the "Hemi" portion of your name here, but what is the "Adda2d" suffix?

I don't recognize the model at all. Do tell! I love small cars best and plan to get back into one someday. My wife loves her '17 VW Golf.

VERY nice. I first guessed it was a 1st Gen Civic, but something didn't look right. I'm guessing that these must be exceptionally rare today. My first car was a 1st Gen Accord hatch bought new and I drove it for 13 Years. I miss the simplicity of cars in that era.

I'm wrestling with that very thing as I think about buying a new car sometime in the next several years. I've driven manuals exclusively for nearly 40 Years because I'm a motorhead and love the driving engagement, but I keep vehicles a very long time and am wondering if I'll want to be rowing a gearbox when I'm 70. Perhaps a model with a dual-clutch automatic is the answer when the time comes …...

LOL, look at my signature, that should tell you. Jessica my Jeep is the other woman. I’m on my third TJ (That’s second generation Wrangler for the non Jeepers). Only other vehicle I would trust off road would be a Toyota or Ford. She like her predecessors have never left me walking or alone.

Jessica.jpg Here she is the day I brought her home from the dealership. She since has been given a mild lift, bigger A/T tires and some other upgrades. I've built as what we call a Trail Truck, not a big lift with huge tires, just enough to navigate most obstacles without sacrificing too much in way of gas. Haters love to hate the Jeep but I bought her for me and it’s in my blood so......

I may or may not have had a bad adda2d in the past... or before my morning coffee!

They originally sold around $1100 dollars or so, new. Now you have troubles finding one which can even be restored for under $5000. And parts were already difficult to find thirty five years ago. Tires were also hard to get back then. They are ten inch rims.

Updated image of the other woman, Miss Jessica. Since I purchased her in May of 2016, I've added a Rough Country 2.5 inch lift, new soft top, new 31-inch BF Goodrich A/T tires, OEM alloy wheels from a 2006 Jeep Wrangler, re-painted some bits to factory colors, new hood hold downs, Aluminum footman loop and window bumpers and NH Conservation "moose" plates. Still on the list is new front and rear bumpers, Warn winch, more lights, under armor and skid plates.
