Rick, I'm home now and have looked at the kit. This kit is the same as the one on the bottom of the photo shown by Warren. The price has been 'blacked out" by ink, but if I hold it up to the light just right with a magnifying glass, I can see $37.50, just like on Warren's box. My kit does have the motor in it (sooo small!!!). I don't remember what I paid for it. With the price blacked out it must have been different. If you are interested, make me an offer, and if it feels right ... it's yours! I've never sold / shipped anything before so I don't know what it would cost you for shipping and insurance (if you want it). Message me if you still want it.
Bill I do still want it, it sounds like a fun build. I haven't figured out how to send a private message here though. Perhaps it is too late in the evening. You should see an orange box with the number "1" in it. That will be my message to you. To send a message to someone, click on their name, ie "Ironhorseman" and you will find "start a conversation." I'm sorry to be butting in on your conversation, but I have a Keystone Shay kit that I have been trying to find the instruction sheet for. By any chance can you post the instructions for the locomotive so I can copy them? I have the instructions for the power unit just not the engine. Thanks
Thank you very much for these Copies of the construction sheets from NWSL and Keystone, it was a long search for me. I bought this Set in 2005 and it disappeared in the basement for several years. In these days I discovered it again and now I try a new start building this set H0105N (H0n3). Now I hope to make faster progress to finish it.
