Has anyone been having issues with using Apple devices as throttles with JMRI? Android devices connect without any issues but those who use Apple devices are not able to connect and control their trains.

We have the updated version of JMRI installed

If anyone has had issues and were able to find a fix please help the Keystone N Trak members.

    Thank you for your support

I am no expert, total novice, just adding that I use an Apple Ipad to run WiThrottle app as well as an android phone to run Engine Driver App. I have not had any issues with WiThrottle app on Ipad connecting to JMRI except when running specific older Samsung Galaxy Tab running Engine Driver. This combination was my only connectivity issue with JMRI withrottle server so far. The Galaxy Tab (ugh such a bad tablet even when new) seemed to somehow disconnect all other devices from JMRI WiThrottle. A newer Galaxy Note 5 does not do this and so far has cooperated with the system and the Ipad, using both as throttles. From my limited networking knowledge of Apple products, I am suspicious that the issue you are having is in the network not in JMRI. Can the apple products see the network and connect to the router without JMRI running?

Only time I have ever had a problem was when the JMRI server had issues. I always use either an iPad or iPod running WiThrottle.
