    Hi all
I'm just finishing of Jersey Central Boxcab #1000 in Z scale as preserved in the B&O museum. Living in England i can't nip down to check out the colour, any recommendations on what paint to use?

Tru-Color No. 233 is CNJ Deep Sea Green, but the brand has distributors in North America only.

This link might be helpful with suggested color mixes:

It's been 25 years since I painted CNJ units and that was using Floquil paints which are no longer made. :(

    Hi Kurt
there will be a thread on it on the Z forum soon which will also feature the Ford Dagenham (the big U.K plant) BTH Boxcab shunter. I'm building them side by side

I ended up painting it with Accuflex Pullman Green and am now looking for some very small CNJ crest decals

It measures just 1 3/4" long and here is seen with its British counterpart the BTH Bo-Bo that worked at the huge Ford carplant at Dagenham in the U.K

It looks brown, but no doubt that's the lighting.

Last time I was in Baltimore it was much darker than Seafoam green. Anything named Pullman green should be quite close.

I believe the radiators at each end of the roof should be black.
