We're back with another work week almost behind us. It's been a busy week for me so I know I'm anxiously awaiting the weekend, how about you?

I honestly do not have much planned this weekend. I'm still recovering from the 18 hour trip from New Hampshire and working a week short staffed at the shop. I have been tossing around an idea to make my current Galesburg City modules lighter, especially module #2 which I have never been happy with. I'm toying with the idea of building this module with 1/2 inch ply ends with 1/8 inch Baltic Birch sides, top and supports. I'm not finished in the design phase yet, but I would like to see if I can completely rebuild module #2 by Trainfest.

Work on the garage is also on the agenda, as this is where I'll be working on the module construction. After 10 years of living out of boxes, it looks like it's time to finally unpack and get tools put away where they belong. It looks like my sentence in Illinois is longer then expected so I might as well get things organized.

So how about you? What is on your agenda this weekend? Let us know. We'll see how we all did on Monday the 31st. Until then, have a great weekend, stay safe and as always...

    High Greens!

Happy to get back in the train room this weekend. A variety of "to do's" and "wanna do's".

Working on a scene where my layout will have an interchange. Creatively called "Interchange, VA". Imagine that. Also plan doing some wiring. If time permits, or I get a wild hair, I may just go get some Masonite and start on skirting in some places. I want to have the skirt up before I put control panels in. Don't want to move control panels after I get them working. Would also like to spend time at the work bench continuing progress on several F&M and Westerfield kits I have going.

2 day weekend and I have 4 days of to-do lists. Something's bound to happen. Happy Friday all!

Like you @Jim Wiggin I'm still trying to conquer the garage. I'm also looking at light weight benchwork design. with proposed 24 inch width I'm thinking 3/4 in ply ends and 1/4 ply sides and stringers. And like the FreeMO N crowd on the west coast I'll top in 2 inch foam over door skin. Or something like that. Also have shelves to build to get stuff up off the floor . . . .

    Yeah -- TGIF!!!

Not sure what I'll get done (Modeling wise) this weekend. I would like to start on another oil derrick - and, perhaps get my propane off loading facility done -- finally.

Hope Y'all have a great and productive weekend,
    Wolf
