Well we are here again, that last bit of the work week with the promise of the weekend. What do you have on your list? Saturday: I really, really, hope that this will be the day I finally finish the O-31 train display. The project turned out to be more expensive and time consuming than I originally thought, but then again, aren't all projects like this? I'm down to the final sanding, priming and paint then attaching the legs and calling it a wrap. Jared comes home this weekend for his four week long Christmas break, so between that and the Christmas and New Years holidays, most work on the Galesburg City Job will be at a stand still. I did however start updating the track plan in my track planning program based on my friends employee Click book. With any luck, the table saw should spring to life again about mid January. Sunday: I don't really have anything planned as we have so much Christmas stuff that needs to be put up and put away. This time of year is so busy but I'll try to sneak in some time to do some light reading or finish the track plan on the new modules. So how about you? What do you have planned for the weekend? Well, as we approach Christmas -- I'm not sure if I will be able to get any modeling done. Last minute stuff and all. However, if I can get to my work bench, I hope to finish off my SD-9 project. 3 of them need lights. Then I have to figure out how I want to do their number boards. Perhaps I can start on new secret project --LOL. (It's a what if paint scheme on a SP RDC)-- This is not "my" norm - but, it sounds to cool to pass up. Y'all have a great weekend!! Wolf
Hey Wolf It's 10 days til Christmas..... Last minute for me (before retirement) was always Dec 24 on the way home from work. I called myself a professional procrastinator. But now..... well I'm all done as of a week ago!!! I kinda miss that last minute panic!!...and the good deals! For everyone on TrainBoard.....Have a good Christmas! Jim
