Well we've made it again, another week is about done. What do you have planned for this weekend?

Saturday: Well, I'm a bachelor this weekend, Angela left for a trip last night and Jared is busy with college stuff and soccer. I have the Decatur Maker fair where my club, the NSBN will be set up to introduce those interested into the fun hobby of model trains. I was able to get my Inglenook to operate last night including the Tam Valley turnouts but no scenery is done yet. I'll be at the maker fair for most of the day and probably hang out with the guys a bit before going home.

Sunday: I plan to take advantage of the quiet house and work on the Galesburg modules. The Ohio N Scale weekend is only a few weeks away so progress needs to be made.

So how about you? What do you have planned for this weekend? Let us know. We'll assemble again on Monday, May 1st. Wow! That snuck up fast! Until then, have a great weekend, stay safe and as always...

    High Greens!

I hope to work on Highway 101 this weekend. And, get that project behind me. Perhaps install some more decoders. My mail train can use some different motive power.... perhaps a GS-2 or a GS-6.

Hope ya'll have an outstanding weekend,
    Wolf

I've declared (to myself anyway) tonight is SCARM Night so I can get some track planning done. We now finally have all the boxes and furniture moved and the keys to the rental house back with the property managers, so after haircuts for me and my sons, tomorrow should see some garage organization. IF i get really adventurous (!) i'll cut plywood for module frames for the new layout on sunday . . . .

Livingston/Helena, Montana Railfairs. So, no modeling, just railfanning MRL and checking out some neat layouts!

I bought 800lbs of computer keyboards and mouses at an online auction. You know how many keyboards and mouses are in 800lb?? I didn't either until I went to pick them up. Pro tip - don't ever buy 800lbs of keyboards and mouses, kids.

I did get my layout cleaned and was ready to do ballasting this weekend, but yard work and .. keyboards will be taking my time up.

And I went to show off the sound on one of my UBoats - and for some reason the layout's dead. So I have to find THAT first.

It's always something. Or something else. ;-)
