I hope you all had a great extended weekend. Let’s get this started. Saturday: We had a nice, seasonal day which included a quick trip to our state fair. Going early paid off as the crowds were non existent. There were some great tractors both new and antique on display as well as some great homemade apple cider donuts. After leaving and getting a few things done, I returned to the state fair to enjoy some live music and some horse pulling competition. Sunday: Was a full day of trains and Jeeps. I started the day by letting the other woman run topless, cause she is a Jeep! I had a nice drive up to North Conway NH to see the Conway Scenic Railroad’s Railfan Weekend. It was a good time seeing all the New England equipment on display. A nice drive back home stopping at key former B&M station stops for pictures rounded out the day. Monday: I kinda bucked the system and went to work setting up the new service center. There is still a lot to be done and unfortunately, I probably won’t be working on any modeling projects for a while, as I continue my transition from Illinois to New Hampshire. So how about you? Did you have a great weekend? Let us know. We’ll assemble again on Friday the 7th to start a brand new September weekend. Until then, have a great week, stay safe and as always... High Greens!
I made some decent progress on my Lark club. (I now have 2 more cars to go... 1 needs assembly, for the other, modifications and detailing) -- then I will start painting and of course decals and final details and assembly. Here is the Lark club so far -- next is the underneath details. Thanks, - and, I hope Y'all had a great weekend!! Wolf
I've been working 50 hour weeks. Started earning my second million dollars, as I gave up on the first million. Supposedly the second is easier.....
Maybe 30 years ago. Now insurance and retirement are for you to pay for rather than earned over the years.
