Well, we did it again. The weekend is almost upon us and it’s time to grab a drink, a donut and a chair and gather around to discuss what we have planned for the weekend.

Saturday: I’m back in Illinois for a week to get more packing done before bringing the layout, model railroad items and other fragile items back to NH in the Focus. Of course I’ll be spending quality time with both Angela and Lucy. I really hope Angela and I find a place soon as I would really like her and Lucy back in NH before Christmas. No real modeling other than continuing to strip a Kato NW-2 I bought a few years back. It will be the B&M switcher for the small B&M modules.

Sunday: I’m hopping to visit with some friends before I head back home later in the week. If I’m lucky, the stubborn factory paint will have all lifted off the shell of the NW-2 so I can prime and paint it before I take down the spray booth and pack up the shop.

So how about you? What do you have planned this weekend? Let us know. We’ll return on Monday the 10th to see how we did. Until then, have a great weekend, have fun, stay safe and as always...

Yup - Y'all guessed it - work will continue on the Lark. Adding underframe details to the Lark club. And start the assembly of the 4-4-2 sleeper - perhaps start the detail work on the observation.

Hope Y'all have a great weekend!!

I plan to pick up another sheet of 1/2 inch birch plywood and get started on the next section of bench work for the home layout. This section will be 5 feet long. I also plan to use some of this sheet to finish some legs for my next Japanese module.

layout planning. A job that's never done, but always needed. And maybe some railfanning.
