Is there really a decoder, that fits here?

Without poking through the coal load? Without starting to file away, I couldn't close the top, on on a 10.7x7.7x2.8 Lenz gold mini plus. I guess, if I poke through, I can line the inside of the coal load with kapton tape and crush some real coal? I'm pretty excited about the prospect, but I'm not a painter, so damaging the shell is something I'd like to avoid.

Check out the relative sizes of LokPilots and the Zimo sub-micro decoders. You might be able to just shave away the underside of the coal load, without breaking through

I think you can grind the underside of the coal load to make them fit. I opted to get some styrene strip and cut strips to fit under the coal load and rais it by about 2mm. Seems to give enough room. I just painted it to match the tender.

I've got some LocPilots on order. The nano versions don't seem available. I'll try one, or wait
