I'm new at this Model Railroading sound business but I love the great effect it has. Presently I plan on buying a Broadway DC Master for a used Broadway Paragon2 Sound engine I just bought because I presently use DC. I also would like to buy some Bachmann DCC sound engines in the future. Can I use the DC Master for Bachmann Sound engines and almost get the proper results from the sound and running? Also presently I run Bachmann DCC engines on DC and they run reasonably well, but they seem to require a lot more power to move than other Bachmann DC engines which I have no problem with. I have a 3'x5' N gauge layout with 2 loops on 2 levels with 2 controllers. Your opinion and help would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!!!!!!

I was hoping NMRA had specifications like they have for DCC and couplers. I guess sound isn't sound for Model Railroading yet!!!!

I am interested in if you purchased that Broadway DC Master control unit and if you did what has been your experience with it. I keep searching for more info on using this unit as I have one and not sure I am getting the most out of it. Specifically not getting the beep to acknowledge cv reset occurred. Also I cannot change the auxiliary function to passenger announcement which I want as I run a lot of passenger trains. I use this unit on the main. Would I have better luck setting up a program track for its use? And does a program track mean just a short piece of track powered all by itself? Any and all help appreciated.
