The cost for adding store-bought lighting fixtures to your layout can be pretty expensive. With that being the case I'm including this link to my website that shows you a step-by-step tutorial of how to construct economical light poles. Cost? In 2006, parts for a single-light pole came to ~$1.50 and a double-light pole less than $3.00.

The link includes a list of tools and materials you'll need to complete the light poles, as well as a diagram and instruction sheet (in .pdf format) that you can download and print out for you convenience.

This could easily be added to our Resources section, with the PDF uploaded

    I'm fine with that, Rick.
