Got the cart before the horse. Finally got to do some paper planning and with what I have in HO scale Sd40-2's and such I need very wide radius curves for them not to derail. Along with most of my freight cars being 60' or longer it just won't work out in HO scale Also tried the plan in N scale for S-&-G's was amazed at what could be done in n scale plus I'd be able to actually have businesses on the layout as my widest section is 2'3" in order to leave my wide body 747 to be able to move around. 2'3" wide doesn't leave much room in HO scale for switching or much running space plus trying to go two level takes away more room in height and what is needed to gain elevation between levels. So will be selling/trading off my hofor n scale have no choice.
