Hi, I am Peter from Slovakia (central Europe). I restarted my hobby around 2010 with modular railroading, scale TT in local club Railnet producing modules in Zababov (Czech rep.) standard, which si kind of FREMO. I am interested in building modules (currently in total line modules around 11 metres are done and couple of meters already now in progress) and electronics, mostly mechanic signalling and fast clock based on atmels/arduino done by me or in cooperation with Railnet colleagues. For example, stations at our meetings are equipped with small fast clock like here (in addition to central clocks at walls) or you can look at my modules of small city, large bridge above the small lake or The Flood, I also wrote a kindle book Track plans for module railroading and their design describing majority of my modules or plans for new ones. I do not precisely model reality around me, I am interested in less common technical solutions for modules, something like my folding bridge or universal endplate profile exchanger etc, therefore would like to collect inspiration for similar ideas. Thanks for welcome messages. To give you the best picture "how we do it", I recommend to look at an article from our main annual event in Bernolakovo (village close to our capital city Bratislava) in Sep2016. TT community in Slovakia is not huge, so we exchange people and modules among clubs and even countries around (mainly Czech republic, other events also Hungary or Poland). So if you go directly to last Sep2016 event here, you can see how it went. Language is not an issue, there is lot of pictures and at there is a ~7mins video at the end. Should you like to see the layout in better resolution, you can look at DWG or PDF links. Our events are also visited by public, but it is not only an exhibition and we simulate normal operations with timetable, freight cards, signalling etc. The nearest TT event in Slovakia will be in central Slovakia at the end of May organised by Kokava club.
