Hey there everybody. I’m new to this board, been around others for a while. I model N scale and my kids and I are getting into T-Trak modules. I’m opting to find a friendly community that I can contribute to and also learn from.
Welcome aboard! There are a lot of folks here interested in T-Trak leading to quite a bit of discussion. Jump on in.
Welcome aboard, Massey! There's a few Trainboard folks from around the Sea-Tac area. What prototype/era/railroad do you model?
Welcome to TrainBoard! My father was a Tacoma native. Was born in St. Joseph's, where a lot the Milwaukee Road folks went... In my past met a fellow with the Massey surname. He'd worked for the MILW (B&B), then UPRR.
Thanks for the warm welcome. When I was in Virginia modeling HO I modeled the Norfolk Southern in modern times. It's still my favorite railroad but difficult to get equipment here in WA. So since I really like long passenger trains I am mainly modeling Amtrak (modern) with some of my second favorite road included which is BNSF. I have a TGV thrown in for variety (long fast passenger trains are better than just long ones). I have a display layout I am building right now that is just a couple of loops, a town and some scenery with the Operation North Pole trains as the subjects. Nothing special here train wise just loops but it allows me to model railfan and work on some rusty model building skills.
Welcome to TrainBoard Massey! You will for sure find a wealth of n scale info here and most definitely a friendly community of model railroaders and railfans here.
