Just wanted to say hello to the forum! I have just returned to the hobby after a few decades. It was in the 70's the last time I ran a scale train. My re-introduction began with the purchase of a HO Steam engine ... thinking "I really wish I had a steamer when I was a kid". Well, that turned into the thought of having a small n-scale layout on a 2x4 shelf in my home office and grew into a 36"x80" hollow core door. Now...I am considering an expansion to 3'x18'...does it ever stop? LOL Anyway, I look forward to reading what the forum has to offer and getting/giving a little help. Tim
I suppose I should add my interests: I am primarily interested in N-scale and since I grew up near the Howell rail yards, my primary focus is the L&N. My collection so far is a bit eclectic so I have a number of other locomotives from the PRR, NYC, CSX. I am also spread across a wide time frame...Late steam to modern. Tim
Welcome to TrainBoard! So many return to this hobby, as the years pass. It's still great fun and gets better all the time.
Welcome to Trainboard, another N Scaler here. I wish that I was in Indiana this week, Terra Haute on Wednesday, Indianapolis on Thursday, Brownsburg on Friday, Anderson on Saturday, and Speedway on Sunday...
