Hi, I just joined because I am trying my hand at DCC++. Although I run O gauge AC trains conventionally, I do run some on DC that have motors that pull approx. 0.5 amps. I have dabbled in Picaxe PMW, but other than that, just variable AC (or chopped AC) or straight DC voltage on the rails as my control. I am not a model railroader or highrailer, just like the old-school look of O27 3 rail track and the low-end equipment that runs on it. Also like the traditional look of Plasticville buildings. Hi Joe, Welcome. Please, no apologies warranted. Everybody's hobby is personal to them and whatever they are happy with. BTW, I love Snoopy and Winston pumping across the screen. OK, Winston's just along for the playground ride.
