Yeah, I know, nobody wants to say what the radius of a turnout leg is because there are sharper curves and straight tangents and you shouldn't count on anything. So, assuming "equivalent radius" is a guarantee equipment won't derail on the switch is a big mistake. But we all know that we can lay a section of 22" radius on an Atlas "#4" (which isn't as sharp to scale as a real number four) and it fits perfectly. Unlike a Bachmann #4, which fits perfectly under an 18" radius curve.

And the Bachmann number five? Does anyone know? Please help me out.

The EZ-Track #5 turnout's closure and points rail radii would be close to 26".

I have a few at home, and I would agree with COverton. They are a little larger than a 22, so yeah, 26" sounds about right. All my models run through them fine, so for most uses they work. However, the switch controller box that comes with them can be kind of sketchy. I never got it to connect very well. Sometimes you have to really smash the connector onto the socket to get a complete circuit.
