I have not seen this mentioned here yet: Dan Peterson of San Juan Decals died late last month as posted in the On3 Yahoo forum. Dan was primarily active as a On3 enthusiast, but his San Juan Decals are mostly available in various other narrow gauge scales as well. And he specifically produced a set of additional numbers for Blackstone passenger cars. Dan was a most helpful fellow and it is very sad that he passed away. His wife Donna is planning to keep the decal business running according to info on that other forum. I have never met Dan in person, but we had been corresponding for many years after I got some HOn3 models he helped selling the wife of a colleague who had passed away. Since I live in Switzerland, it was great to have someone to discuss topics around NA narrow gauge etc.

I copy here a note from that other forum by Richard Bale:

An obituary on Dan Peterson's untimely passing will appear in the news section of the May edition of Model Railroad Hobbyist eMagazine.
