I was cleaning out a few things and ran across this in a 1997 issue of Ztrack: "Effective as of December 18, 1996, Adam Scull Publisher, Editor and founder of Ztrack has relinquished control of the publication. Full publication rights, editorial control and management of the publication has been transferred to Robert Kluz..." So I guess congratulations are in order for Rob: keeping it going for 20 years, getting bigger and more colorful. I can just imagine Adam's words of advice to Rob: "it's your problem now." Mark
I'm glad Rob stuck with it, and turned it into a labor of love and the magazine we have today!! Here's to 20 more years, and beyond!!
Thanks! Wow, twenty-years. Hard to believe. I started in Z scale in 1985 and began writing for Ztrack, the newsletter around 1989. Taking over Ztrack in 1997 was intimidating at the time. We have definitely come a long way since that newsletter. I never would have imagined how our business has involved and how far Z scale has grown. It just keeps getting better and better! Thanks for all the support! Ztrack wouldn't have survived without the support of the Z scale community. If we came this far in 20 years, I wonder where we will be in the next 20? This is going to be fun! Rob
Sounds great Rob! congratulation to you! I hope things only get better and better! I have always enjoyed Zscaletrack magazine!
My congratulations Rob. I remember the transition from Adam to you. We in Z scale should appreciate all you have done to advance our scale from Ztrack to your work during the National Train Shows and connections to AZL. Here's to many more years.
And yes, this is cause for a bit of celebration... http://mailchi.mp/ztrackcenter/ztrack-magazine-see-the-new-ztrack-websites-2969697?e=8dc736a3a0
Wow, guess it was a blink eh? 20 years. What I appreciate the most is Rob loves trains like we do. So he understands our joys and frustrations with the hobby. He sees the hobby from both sides, and is as excited as we are about what is being released.
