Saw this just now: http://www.cbsnews.com/news/more-than-500-pounds-of-explosives-stolen-from-train/ Will be interesting to see if any more reporting comes out.
"...has authorities concerned that the explosives could fall into the wrong hands." Ummm. It would seem to me they have already fallen into the wrong hands.
"Technically the explosives are classified as fireworks but because they are commercial grade combined with the quantity makes them extremely dangerous." I have never, ever heard of Dynamite referred to as commercial grade fireworks. Must be some kind of election year double-speak.
A relatively good update: http://wtvr.com/2016/04/24/explosives-stolen-from-csx-freight-train-recovered/ And from the description these were the professional type fireworks, as I can't see anything that size (5 inch) being for consumer sale.
I had heard on TV news last night, they found all but one case. One or two, we may only learn who has them, when there is a 911 call after someone blows off a hand or....
or drops it in their lap when trying to throw a lit unit at something outside their vehicle and they leave the gene pool permanently.
Interesting, atf and SP bomb squad detonated "military ordinance" last Saturday afternoon down near Clarion. Nearby residents thought it was a large firework. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
