Gluing walls to base using magnetic lego blocks for alignment. More walls installed. All walls installed. Added roof supports and soffits. Applied printed shingles to roofs (these shingles didn't look good or work well with label paper, so I changed to simulated green asphalt (shown later) and used tracing paper). Glued roofs in position (note gaps, which will be covered with ridge caps) This pic still shows old simulated cedar shakes. Ridge caps applied.(Old shingles) Attached corner trim and chimney. Terrible looking shingles. New color and paper eliminates most imperfections. When folding label paper to make ridge caps it causes ink to rub off. Used weathering powders to hide other imperfections.
Using diluted white glue, provides a smoother surface with tracing paper, and is not shiny like label paper. Completed.
