Only two weeks left to go. We have lined up an HO scale modular group, a Z scale group requiring eight 6' tables, a Lionel layout that the kids are welcome to play with, an N scale layout, a 12' long HO European layout, and a Swiss HOm gauge layout. We still have a few tables available if you would like to sell at the show. Remember, your admission on Saturday includes free admission to the Lewis County Historical Museum: The home of the Lewis County Model Railroad Club layout. I hope to see you there. David
I keep hoping I can attend, some day. It has been too long. Maybe I will find a way to move back home to western WA.
It is official, we have sold out all 174 tables that we had and managed to squeeze in 4 more for a total of 178 tables. Glad to hear that you are going to try to come down on Sunday Kurt. Sorry to hear that you live too far away Boxcab. David
Congratulations! Cool! Yes. My distance is why I ask for photos. Although I can contemplating an eventual return to western Taxington.
Here you go. I haven't used my camera in years so it took me a couple of days to figure out how to make a video. Then I had to download a video editor and figure out how to use it. The video was shot on Sunday morning before we opened the doors. Excellent Saturday turnout with over 400 attendees. Sunday was unusually slow with only about 150 attendees. This doesn't include those that came on Saturday and returned on Sunday to pickup that item that they decided that they really did need. It was a sunny warm day which may have cut down on attendance. The video shows in order: 1. Marklin HO European layout 2. Bemo HOm gauge Swiss layout 3. N Scale layout 4. HO Scale layout 5. Z scale modular group 6. LK&R HO modular group 7. View of some of our vendor tables David
It was a nice day for the drive down there to be in attendance! Great to see some old friendly faces, and see the new youngsters faces light up too! The nice weather could be a reason for low attendance, every pumpkin patch farm I passed was full of family's getting they're pumpkins for Halloween!
